She was born on October 23, 1966 in Glen Cove, New York. Every poem or anything she wrote was submitted to Highlights or Cricket by her mom. When she was in school she hated taking the test where you read and chomprehend to answer the questions. When she was in junior high her family moved to Miami, FL and she didn't have any friends their so she spent alot of her time writting. Then she went to Law school where she reasearched about dating violence and this is were her first book started as. Her first novel, Breathing Underwater, was published in 2001. A year later in 2002 Breaking point was published. Then in 2004 her thrid book called Nothing to Lose was published. In 2005 her book Fade to Black was published. She wrote anohter book called Diva and it was published in 2006. Her lastest book, Beastly, was publised in 2007.
